Update on the Disappearance of Hannah Kobayashi: New Information Reveals She is Voluntarily Missing

Police issue update on missing Hannah Kobayashi after dad's death

The case of missing Hannah Kobayashi has captured attention worldwide. Last month, she vanished while traveling from her home in Maui, Hawaii to New York City, with a connecting flight in Los Angeles. However, new information has emerged, revealing that she is “voluntarily missing”.

Authorities were alerted when Kobayashi failed to board her flight to New York. Concerned for her safety, her family traveled to Los Angeles and filed a missing person report, prompting a widespread search.

Adding to the mystery, Hannah’s father, Ryan Kobayashi, was found dead on November 24 in Los Angeles. He had been assisting in the search for his daughter. Authorities confirmed that his death was a suicide caused by multiple blunt force traumatic injuries.

Yesterday, LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell gave a press conference providing an update on the investigation. Surprisingly, it was revealed that Hannah Kobayashi had been spotted on video surveillance crossing the US-Mexico border on foot.

According to Chief McDonnell, Hannah intentionally missed her connecting flight in Los Angeles on November 8. She maintained contact with her family and was active on Instagram for a few days after her disappearance. However, on November 11, her family received concerning text messages and lost contact with her. They reported her missing on November 13.

The investigation has not uncovered any evidence that Hannah is being trafficked or is the victim of foul play. She is also not considered a suspect in any criminal activity.

Despite this information, Kobayashi’s family strongly disputes the police’s findings.

The search for Hannah Kobayashi continues as authorities and her family work tirelessly to find answers.
