I’ve always been a fan of Sally Field. She is a legendary and gifted actress, and over her decades-long career, she has had her fair share of on-screen romances. Recently, she revealed which of these kisses was the worst, although at first, she hesitated to admit which co-star it was with.

Laughing, she hesitated before naming her former boyfriend, the late Burt Reynolds, as the culprit. Surprised by her choice, Cohen asked if they were dating at the time. Sally explained that during the filming of “Smokey and the Bandit,” she had to “look the other way” because it wasn’t something Reynolds excelled at. She mentioned that there was a lot of “drooling” on Reynolds’ part during their time filming together.
Sally and Reynolds met in 1977 while working on “Smokey and the Bandit” and dated for about five years. Reynolds later expressed regret in his memoir, But Enough About Me, wishing he had put more effort into making the relationship work. However, Sally revealed in an interview that she had stopped speaking to him in the final 30 years of his life because he wasn’t good for her.
