Soap is an essential part of our hygiene routine, but lately, store-bought soaps have been disappointing in quality. Not only do they leave stains and discoloration on our clothes, but they also damage the fabric. That’s why we’re here to help! In this article, we’ll show you how to make your own high-quality soap at home using natural ingredients. Get ready to say goodbye to those soap-related woes!

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • 1 liter of Cold Water
  • 2 bars of Glycerin Soap
  • 50 ml of Alcohol
  • 10 tbsp of Common Sugar
  • 6 tbsp of Powdered Soap
  • Grated zest of 3 lemons
  • 50 ml of Alcohol Vinegar

Let’s Get Started!

  1. Pour the liter of water into a pot and bring it to a boil. Add the grated lemon zest to the boiling water and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. This will infuse the water with a refreshing aroma.
  2. While the water is simmering, grate the 2 bars of glycerin soap. This will help it melt faster when added to the mixture.
  3. After 5 minutes, remove the lemon zest from the water and reduce the heat. Gradually add the grated soap to the water, stirring continuously to ensure it mixes well. It may take some time for the soap to melt completely, so be patient.
  4. After about 20 minutes, add the powdered soap to the mixture and continue stirring.
  5. Once the powdered soap has dissolved, incorporate the 10 tablespoons of sugar, stirring constantly.
  6. Finally, add the alcohol and vinegar to the mixture. If desired, you can add a few drops of your favorite dye for a vibrant touch. We recommend yellow or green for a refreshing lemon scent.
  7. Turn off the heat and pour the soap mixture into a soap mold or any container you have. Let it sit for at least 6 hours to cool and solidify.
  8. After the soap has hardened, feel free to cut and shape it any way you like.

Important Tip: Patience is Key!

Before you start using your homemade lemon soap, it’s important to let it rest for about 5 days. This resting period allows the soap to fully cure and become even more effective.

That’s it! You’ve successfully made your very own lemon soap. Now you can enjoy the benefits of homemade soap that’s gentle on your skin and leaves your clothes fresh and clean. Give it a try with any type of clothing, whether it’s black or colorful. Happy soaping!
