Making Peace with Past Decisions
We all have things we regret in life, decisions we wish we could change, and words we would take back if we could. But few of us can relate to the immense regret felt by Ethan ‘ModBoy’ Bramble, a body fanatic from Australia who covered his entire body with over 200 tattoos.
In today’s society, expressing oneself through ink is quite common, and unique and eccentric tattoos have become quite popular. However, there is a limit to what most people are willing to do, and Ethan far exceeded that limit.
At the tender age of 11, Ethan got his first body modification, which involved stretching his ears. Over the years, he underwent numerous procedures, including splitting his tongue and removing his belly button. But it’s his tattoos that have garnered the most attention.
Dealing with Regret
Having spent around $60,000 AUD (roughly $39,000 USD) on his tattoos, Ethan now expresses regret over his past choices. In an interview with LadBibleTV’s No Filter series, he explains that he wishes to be perceived differently and is concerned about the judgement he may face while carrying out everyday tasks, such as taking his young daughter to school.
Ethan admits, “I wish that I had not gone as extreme as I did on my face.” In an attempt to clean up his image, he has undergone painful laser surgery treatments to remove some of the ink he acquired in his younger years.
The Transformation Begins
Over the past year, Ethan has been enduring the discomfort of laser surgery. He has undergone several treatments in different sections of his body. The process has not been easy, but Ethan remains optimistic about the future.
“I’m happy with the way I look, but over the next two years, my face tattoos are going to become less and less. I’m just clearing the canvas,” he said.
Ethan’s journey is not only about physical transformation; it’s also about finding peace of mind. He believes that his anxiety was partly due to having a face full of tattoos. By removing them, he hopes to alleviate some of that anxiety and start anew.
The Final Result
It’s exciting to think about how Ethan will look once he has completely cleared his face of tattoos. We admire his courage and determination to make a change for the better.
