A Clever Business Mind

Police are called on boy selling ‘Ice Cold Beer’ but his clever sign has them laughing

Some people have a natural talent for business, and 11-year-old Seth from Utah is a perfect example of that. With determination, a willingness to take risks, and the desire to utilize his skills, he has created a successful business at such a young age.

Instead of setting up a typical lemonade stand, Seth took a creative approach to his entrepreneurial venture. He stood near the pavement with a sign that read, “Ice Cold Beer.”

Now, this may sound concerning to some, but don’t worry! Seth’s marketing strategy is nothing short of genius. When a few concerned neighbors alerted the police about a minor selling beer, the officers decided to pay him a visit.

To everyone’s surprise, instead of reprimanding the young entrepreneur, the officers had a good laugh. It turns out, Seth was selling root beer, but the word “root” was written in small green letters, unlike the word “beer.” The members of the Brigham City Police Department were impressed by Seth’s clever signage and considered it an excellent marketing strategy.

Once this heartwarming story made its way onto the internet, people couldn’t help but comment. One person wrote, “He’s savvy, neat, and clean! Hardworking and thinking about what appeals to the public…he can go anywhere with that mindset! And with that community of great police officers supporting him, he’s already got mentoring!!! Love this!”

While some criticized the person who called the police, the department disagreed. They stated, “Our citizens should never feel ashamed or embarrassed to call us. They were just calling in what they felt was a suspicious circumstance. No harm, no foul.”

The officers not only bought some root beer for a dollar but also shared Seth’s cute story, promoting his business within the community. We can do our part too by sharing this heartwarming tale.

Let’s celebrate the clever mind of this young entrepreneur and the support he receives from the amazing police officers in his community.
