One of Australia’s most well-known bloggers, 24-year-old Ethan “Modboy” Bramble, is impossible to overlook on the street. With a split tongue, cropped ears, tattooed black eyeballs, stretched nostrils, a sewn-in navel, and 95% of his body inked, he draws the attention of even the most indifferent passerby.

Ethan views his transformation as no different than changing a hairstyle or applying makeup. “It’s how you want to look,” he explains, adding, “I’ve always believed people shouldn’t be judged by their appearance. The end result is absolutely worth the struggle if you’re committed to it.”

Among all his modifications, tattooing his eyeballs was the most nerve-wracking experience. He vividly recalls the anxiety of having a syringe approach his eye. “You have one person holding your eyelids open, and you have to focus on a specific spot on the wall. It’s incredibly stressful because if you move your eye with the syringe there, you could go blind,” he said.

Today, the iconic Australian is undergoing tattoo removal sessions, each time revealing more patches of untattooed skin. Perhaps one day, when his daughter is older, this devoted dad will share photos of his extraordinary past appearance.
