One day, Oakley was outside in the yard when a coyote attacked her. Helpless against her much larger foe, Oakley was cornered and in grave danger. Lane shared the video with her social media followers, calling it the “craziest thing ever.” Speaking to KFOR, Lane expressed her awe and inspiration at witnessing Binx’s selfless act. “It was inspiring to see our little outdoor cat jump at two coyotes attacking her beloved dog and run them off,” she said.
Unfortunately, Oakley suffered serious injuries during the attack, including a deep chest wound and leg injuries. She required surgery and veterinary care to recover fully. But despite the pain and trauma, Oakley remains grateful for her feline friend’s incredible bravery. Through thick and thin, these two pets have shown that true friendship knows no bounds.
